Did you know that the Fort Worth Police Department's budget does not cover bikes, equipment, or training for bike patrol officers?

In many cities, simply walking to your car after an evening out can be dangerous, and this can bring on fear and uneasiness for citizens. Citizens should be able to enjoy a meal or night on the town with friends and feel safe, right?

Fort Worth bike patrol officers have created a safe and fun environment for the citizens of Fort Worth and the many visitors that come into our city each year.

For almost 30 years, Fort Worth Bike Patrol Officers have kept Fort Worth safe, and have been involved in strengthening relations between police and the Fort Worth community.

Bicycles, equipment, and training are essential for bike patrol officers to keep Fort Worth safe.

Broken bikes, insufficient training, and a lack of equipment make it difficult for officers to do their jobs.

Keep Fort Worth vibrant and safe by giving our officers the tools they need.
